Most “decor” content on the internet is written by people who own. Their walls are theirs to paint. Their advice doesn’t translate when your lease says no nails larger than a picture hook and your living room is also your office is also your dining room.

We started Tiny Doings because nobody was writing for the rest of us — renters in studios and 1-beds and weird shotgun layouts, the kind of “garden apartment” that’s actually a basement.
